The Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville is one of the most historic venues in all of Tennessee. When construction started in 1908, the hotel was known as 'first million dollar hotel in Nashville.' After it opened in 1910, it was a favorite of politicians, entertainers, and other members of high society. The history is evident everywhere you look throughout the hotel. From the Beaux-Arts style lobby, to the art deco speakeasy in the basement, every nook and cranny of the hotel has a story to tell. The staff at the Hermitage Hotel is equally impressive. They can make almost any wedding dream come true for their couples.
Because of that, and the beautiful architecture in general, we love photographing weddings at the Hermitage Hotel. The veranda, one of the their event venues within the hotel, is a gorgeous sun room that is filled with light. It is perfect for ceremonies and smaller receptions. There is also a grand ballroom for larger affairs.
Whatever type of wedding you envision, the Hermitage Hotel event staff can help make it a reality. The Oak Room is the hotel's premier restaurant and have amazing food. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with unique character and design that you don't often find in modern hotels.
