Bride and Groom at East Ivy Mansion wedding

East Ivy Mansion Wedding

We are so excited to share this beautiful East Ivy Mansion wedding reception and Church of the Assumption ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. This was our first East Ivy Mansion wedding and we certainly hope it was not our last. East Ivy Mansion is one of the most incredible venues in Nashville. It is so unique and romantic. We truly fell in love. We also fell in love with our clients, Alexa and Patrick.

Alexa and Patrick wanted their wedding to have the feeling of a romantic garden with an Italian Renaissance flair. East Ivy Mansion, with its amazing courtyards and outdoor areas, was the perfect venue for their vision. There is so much history at East Ivy Mansion and you can totally feel it when you are there. It was the perfect place for Alexa and Patrick to tie the knot. Patrick’s groomsmen were looking fabulous, in their suits and wooden watches.

Amazing Nashville wedding vendors

To help them achieve their dream wedding, Alexa and Patrick had an outstanding group of vendors. Cassidy Spaulding with Randi Events did an excellent job coordinating their wedding and planning every last detail. Clif Jones with Entertain! provided the music and entertainment. Branching Out Floral and Event Design provided the stunning florals. GLAM Nashville provided the hair and makeup. Dream Catering provided the delicious food for the event. As wedding photographers in Nashville, we are fortunate to work with some of the industry’s best.

The best weddings feature the best couples

All of these vendors did an amazing job and we were honored to be a part of this elegant event. Kelly and I absolutely loved working with Alexa and Patrick capturing their wedding and engagement photos. It is always an honor to take part in such a special event. Thank you, Alexa and Patrick, for letting us be a part of your day. Check out more of our weddings by visiting our home page or our blog.

Nashville Wedding Photography, Gina and Paul

Gina and Paul’s Nashville wedding took place on a gorgeous spring day at a lakefront residence outside of Nashville in Lebanon, Tennessee. There was barely a cloud in the sky and everyone there was ready for a good time. Gina and Paul are from New Orleans where Paul and Gina’s mother are both musicians, along with many of their friends and other family members. With Paul and many of the guests being musicians, it was important to Paul and Gina to have music be a central part of their wedding. Many of their guests and friends are musicians, so many of them took part and joined the band that was led by Leroy Jones and the Spirit of New Orleans.

Gina and Paul wanted a laid-back and intimate atmosphere for their wedding to go along with all of the great music. They opted not to have a wedding party and instead wanted everyone together all day. People played corn hole and croquet. There was even a bounce house! That was a wedding first for me. I have never seen a bounce house at a wedding and I really didn’t know what I was missing before this day. What an awesome idea?! The kids loved it! And so did many of the adults!!

This beautiful event was made possible by the group effort of vendors as well as family and friends. Paul’s sister did the flowers and his brother-in-law made the metal screens that were used for the ceremony. The event was hosted at Paul’s aunt’s house and his uncle was in charge of the BBQ along with Actual Food Nashville. Rentals were provided by Chief Rental. All of the delicious cakes were baked by Wolfe Gourmet Cakes.

It was an incredible honor being a part of this beautiful and intimate wedding. Thank you Paul and Gina for allowing me to capture this incredible day! I hope you enjoy the photos!
