Beautiful Spring Wedding at Scarritt Bennett Center and Hutton Hotel

Jennifer and Andrew’s beautiful wedding at the Scarritt Bennett Center and Hutton Hotel took place on the perfect spring day. It was the kind of day all brides dream of when planning their wedding. Weather in Tennessee is unpredictable if nothing else, and Jennifer and Andrew couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate with their family and friends. The only thing better than the weather was the great people and gorgeous locations.

Jennifer and Andrew met while students at MTSU but didn’t start dating until they ran into each while living in Nashville a few years later. They are such a cute couple and so obviously in love with each other (just look at their smiles). The ceremony took place at the beautiful Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville. Andrew’s father officiated the ceremony, making it extra special.

After the ceremony everyone headed to reception at the Hutton Hotel to celebrate the newlyweds and dance the night away. We had an amazing time working with Jennifer and Andrew. They were so nice and so in love, which made our job easy and so much fun. It was such an honor to be a part of their beautiful wedding. Thank you, Jennifer and Andrew. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Marco Island Wedding

As the temperatures drop below freezing here in Nashville (btw, what happened to fall?) we are warming up just looking at pictures from this GORGEOUS Marco Island wedding. Last month Dan traveled to Marco Island, FL to capture Megan and Alec’s destination wedding at Marco Beach Ocean Resort– a favorite spot of ours. For those of you who don’t know, Dan’s parents live on Marco Island and we love to get down there as often as we can. Especially for a couple as amazing as these two!

The Bride and Groom

Megan and Alec truly had a modern day romance. They first met on and immediately bonded over a shared love of their pet Beagles. Both of them are easy going, and as you’ll see, have the most contagious smiles. Dan called me after their rehearsal dinner to tell me how incredibly nice they were, and I swear, I can tell just by looking at their photos.

The Big Day

Friends and family traveled from their native Indiana and around the country to witness their vows. The touching wedding ceremony took place on the beach followed by the reception on the terrace and ballroom of the resort. One of Megan and Alec’s primary goals for their wedding was to relax and enjoy the day. They also wanted their guests to have an amazing time and they succeeded!

From the on-trend invitation suite to the fresh and clean floral arrangements and picturesque views, their wedding hit the mark! Megan was breathtaking in her dress from Nancy’s Bridal Boutique in Indianapolis. For the ceremony, she wore a beautiful tulle skirt which was removed for the reception. I personally loved the way the tulle moved and caught the light on the beach. Kevin Morris, of Botanicals on the Gulf, created the most beautiful and beachy bouquets and arrangements. The cake from Kakes by Karen was both beautiful and delicious. Foreman’s 5 performed at the reception and they were amazing. The guests were dancing all night!

Megan and Alec’s wedding day was a complete success! It was an honor to preserve these precious memories for them. We wish them all of the happiness in the world as husband and wife!
