We are so excited to share this elegant and classic fall wedding at The Cordelle in Nashville, TN! Etta and Justin first met while working together in Memphis, and though they didn’t know each other well, always seemed to wind up together at work events. Eventually a mutual friend set them up and they have been together ever since! They both share a love of animals (together they have a cat, dog and a horse!) and are self described foodies (us too!). Dan and I got to know Etta and Justin when we shot their engagement session in Nashville last fall. We knew instantly that they were the sweetest couple and couldn’t wait for their wedding!
The Rehearsal Dinner
Their rehearsal dinner was held at Chauhan Ale and Masala House which happens to be one of our favorite restaurants in Nashville. It’s a great date spot if you’re in the mood for fine Indian-Southern fusion food and a great atmosphere. It’s such a unique area with tons of great nightlife within walking distance.
The wedding took place on a warm and sunny day in early October. The day began in the bridal suite at The Cordelle, which is one of the prettiest getting ready spaces you’ll ever see. It is full of natural light and beautiful furnishings – basically is a wedding photographer’s dream. The bride and bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done by the very talented Katie-Laine Thornton. The bridesmaids wore stunning french blue dresses which matched Etta’s gorgeous Tory Burch flats perfectly. The bride stole the show in her amazing dress by Jim Hjelm by Hayley Paige from White Dress Boutique here in Nashville.
The Ceremony and Reception
The ceremony and reception decor combined classic white details accented by luscious greenery and pops of blue. The day was flawlessly coordinated by Laurie Hardman of Laurie D’Anne Events. All of the bouquets and floral arrangements were designed by Branching Out Floral, and the band, Burning Las Vegas, put on a great show and kept everyone on the dance floor all night!
We absolutely loved working with Etta and Justin and wish them all of best as husband and wife!
