You might remember Lindsay and Ryan from their engagement photos a few months ago and now their very fun wedding has come and gone as well! We've very much enjoyed getting to know Lindsay and Ryan over the last few months and wish them all the happiness in the world! For the girls, their day began at Salon Visage and then the wedding party headed over to Hunter Valley Farm for the ceremony and reception. Here are a few of our faves!

Can we say beautiful?!

The happy bride and groom --- they are sooo in love!!

I love this shot from the ceremony! And I'm sooo jealous of the curls on bridesmaid third from left --Kati-- she was such a cutie :)!

Best kiss I've seen all year --- soo fun! Just a side note here -- Lindsay and Ryan also had the best vows too, they wrote their vows themselves and they were awesome!

There are a bunch of shots similar to this right after the ceremony --- 90% of the time that's my favorite moment --- I love it when everyone is so happy, hugging and kissing the bride and groom.

My favorite!

This is right after they cut the cake --- they didn't slam the cake (fyi, I didn't think they would) but they did do this, which I think is really cute!

This next photo is the start of a really fun reception!! There was lots of love, lots of hanging out, and some really fun dancing --- but don't worry, we won't display any crazy dance moves here  --- we'll save those Lindsay and Ryan's private gallery. Enjoy!!

The end!! Love to you both!! xoxo

As Seen on Style Me Pretty: The Ultimate Wedding Blog Share on Facebook

Meet Tosha and Will! They are a fantastic couple that we've only met once in person and it was on their wedding day (except once on Skype but I don't think that counts)! Since we travel for weddings all the time, even destination weddings, we are totally accustomed to working with clients from out-of-town.  From the time Tosha booked us, we kept up with each other through emails, texting and of course Twitter, so I really felt like we knew them once their big day rolled around!  Even before we met, I could tell how charming Tosha was and she and Will seem PERFECT for one another.  They were both so sweet and fun-loving all day.  And creative too!  Wait until you see all of Tosha's beautiful details!  Anyways, hope you guys love Tosha & Will's wedding as much as we did!!

Might be my favorite getting ready picture ever!

Ok, I already said Tosha did a great job on her details, but you're about to see what I mean. She obviously put a lot of thought into it, and it really paid off for her pictures. When she got engaged she started reading wedding blogs like Style Me Pretty and got totally hooked.  Here is one thing I particularly liked: Instead of having pillows for the rings, she tied all of their love letters together with twine -- the picture is almost in the middle ---soo cute!! (I mean seriously, that's a lot of love letters!! They were thick!!)

First glance

Maybe my favorite of the two of them!

We had plenty of time to take pictures and low and behold even found ourselves ahead of schedule a couple of times. I don't think I ever even broke a sweat! I originally picked out almost 100 photos I wanted to blog of the two of them!! There are soo many good ones!! Tosha and Will decided to see each other before the ceremony, which we always think is a great idea because it's less stressful for you and it gives us more time for shots with the two of you. We can definitely go either way but it is worth considering...

I like this little guy on the left, like a lot :) I think I might need this picture on my fridge because it makes me laugh... When we took this, he was trying so hard not to smile for us -you can see he's about to smile, it's right on his lips!

If you follow me on Twitter or are my friend on Facebook,  you may know that Ashley Hoskins (Ashley Hoskins Photography) and I did a little traveling together last week. Here is what we did, all in about 36 hours:

Day 1 - flew into LAX, rented a convertible, had lunch with my brother-in-law Ben (you saw him in the last post), drove down Hwy 1 to Laguna Beach, got honked at about 13 times because apparently I don't drive crazy enough for LA, had manicures and pedicures, then had the best sushi we've both ever had.

Day 2 - attended an all-day workshop with Jessica Claire (she was named one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world by American Photo Magazine). Then drove back to LAX and took a red-eye flight home that night -- I was awake for 28 hours because I couldn't fall asleep on the plane. I finally took a nap Thursday then next day went to Richmond, VA for a wedding you will see in a few weeks... a little crazy, I know.

So more about Jessica Claire --- She's amazing. Not only is she a super talented photographer, she's pretty much a genius on top of being really nice and totally down to earth. I started following her blog about two years ago. She invented the Shootsac, which is that really cute bag I carry around with my lenses and essentials at every wedding. She recently also just launched the Hipslip, which is similar to the Shootsac except it's for your laptop --- it was just featured in Glamour Magazine. Jessica Claire herself is getting married in less than a week and you should really check out her wedding invitations ---- I guarantee you've never seen anything like them! I'm sure you are all wondering who photographs your wedding when you are a top wedding photographer yourself -- for her, it's Jose Villa and I can't wait to see the pictures!

Ashley and I had the best time together --- we knew we would. Ashley and I became friends last year after Dan and I shot her wedding this time last year (Happy Anniversary Justin & Ashley!!). Anyways, Ashley and I were so funny about everything, I mean you would have thought we were going to meet Jennifer Aniston or something. We were so silly and had a really fabulous time.

At the workshop Jessica had a mock wedding set up by some of the most talented people in the industry (their names and websites will be at the end of this post). She had this super-cute husband and wife couple model for us and you all are going to love the details you're about to see --- especially if you love Anthropologie, because it has that look :)

Here we go ---

Jessica Claire has the grey shirt on.....There were about 20 photographers in the workshop.

And here is what we were all taking pictures of:
natalie_workshop0008web.jpg
Here are some shots of the couple - they're so cute right?!
natalie_workshop0136web.jpg
natalie_workshop0117cweb.jpg
And here are the details you all are going to die for!! Literally you could probably find almost all of this stuff at yard sales and thrift shops, it doesn't have to cost a ton and  I know some of you would really enjoy working on the details for your own weddings--- Get on it ladies!!

That's JC shooting on the left :) --- I'm a huge dork.
