Rehearsal dinners are one of the greatest parts of the wedding weekend. You've got all of your VIPs and out of towners in one room -- there's a little nervousness in the air and a lot of anticipation! Rehearsal dinner's are an excellent opportunity to get more pictures of the people you love the most...It helps us get to know all the important players and plus you know everyone is going to have a cute outfit, especially you!! :))

We have done a lot of rehearsal dinners in the last year for more 'destination' type weddings where all or at least most of the guests are coming from out of town.. and this next set of pictures is one of them :)
Krista & Jordan's wedding images are almost complete but before we posted those, we wanted to show you how the weekend began. We photographed the first hour of their rehearsal dinner when all of the guests were saying hello and having cocktails. Their wedding weekend was held in Cashiers, North Carolina, which in our opinion is one of the greatest places in the southeast! The mountains are beautiful, the weather is cool, and the town is super cute and always makes for a laid back getaway. They had their rehearsal dinner at Cornucopia, which is a neat, airy open-walled restaurant with great light. They had a bluegrass band, wildflowers and a lot of fun. It perfectly set the stage for what was a fabulous weekend, celebrating love, friendship and family.
Enjoy!

Woooah! What a whirlwind summer we've had! Luckily, we've spent it with all of you cute, sweet couples and all of your fun friends. We usually like to post things quickly, but we've taken so many pictures this summer, we are still working on stuff from August! I guess we just can't help but snap away when we're around all of you wonderful people!
Without further delay we bring you Calli and Brett's wedding. And, I have to tell you that we are crazy about them, they are such a delightful couple! We have loved working with Calli and Brett from the beginning. Not only are they gorgeous, smart and sweet, they really have their stuff together and it's totally obvious that they are a perfect match! Plus, all of Calli and Brett's friends and family were so sweet to Dan and I, we just loved everyone and really enjoyed every moment of their day!
We started out at the site of their reception, Cherokee Country Club. The girls and guys got ready there because it is such a great place for getting ready shots. Then, we headed over to Cedar Springs just before the ceremony.

Here are few of our faves! Enjoy!

I absolutely love the getting ready part of the day and all of the wonderful, candid moments that go along with it.

Sweet, sweet bridesmaids.

And here is the handsome groom :)

and beautiful bride! Could our job be made any easier!?

First look!

One of my favorites.

This crew was a lot of fun ;)

A sweet little moment between Calli and her dad just before the ceremony.

Their friend Mayor Bill Haslam officiated the ceremony which was very sweet and personal. During the ceremony we were only allowed to shoot from the balcony with no flash but we were able to get a few shots like this:

Married! Yay!

I sometimes get a little (ok, a lot) star struck around famous people so I was sure to have Dan take this picture. LOL

After the ceremony everyone went back to Cherokee for the reception. Brett, Calli, Dan, the videographer and I headed across the street to the golf course for a few shots in the 'good light'.

I just love this couple!

they are always doing things like this:

Calli had some really cute details at the reception, like this make your own Sundae Bar....I wish we had one at our house right now!!

First Dance

Father-daughter. So sweet (tear).

99.9% of the time a picture that has nothing in focus immediately gets hosed...but for some reason we both really liked this one. Their band was great.

The end!! Congrats Calli & Brett!! Yall are wonderful and so much fun!! Thank you so much for having us!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Morgan says:

As we bring you this next wedding, we are just a little sad.... because we're not quite ready for Erin & Ryan's wedding to be over! We've loved Erin and Ryan so much that it can't possibly be all over now, can it? This always happens, no matter how long we've been looking forward to a wedding the couple actually does get married and eventually moves on to bigger and better things :P
But, I'm just not ready yet! I mean, what could be more fun than their canoe engagement shoot?? I will never forget it and it's one of our favorites for sure! One of the reasons we are so ga-ga over Erin & Ryan is because they are seriously some of the nicest, smiliest (is that a word?) people you will ever meet.... I know you guys always think I say things like that but anyone who knows Erin & Ryan would definately agree. They're the real deal.
Here are some of our favorite shots of Erin & Ryan's most important day!
Enjoy!

This is number 4 of 4 weddings we have done at Graystone Presbyterian Church this year. I LOVE the getting ready room there because it really has great light. Plus everything fun, funny, and sweet happens in the girls' getting ready room. On the wedding day, it's my favorite place to be!

I'm showing this garter because both Erin's mother and grandmother wore it on their wedding day.

And here is Erin's mom giving it to her daughter :)

How could you ever get sick of that smile? ;)

Erin's dress was so gorgeous and elegant.

Erin & Ryan saw each other before the ceremony. They met in the sanctuary to get a little relief from the heat. There are so many great images of the two of them in their gallery, but I decided to post these from when they first saw each other.

I especially like this one.

Sweet, sweet girls who I felt like I knew by the end of the day!

I'm not really sure how this happened but I think it's a first for us! lol

I can't remember if Emily & Meredith are spying on the boys or watching guests arrive - nonetheless they are very cute.

Just a little moment between Erin and her dad.

This is when the bridesmaids prayed for Erin before the ceremony.

I don't care how many wedding I go to, a face like this always gets me :)

Look at Ryan's sweet face.

and a little tear on Erin's.

Ryan's got some moves. He pulled off this dip-kiss spur of the moment. The crowd went wild ....:)

All the sweet moments happen just after the ceremony, this is one of them.

Love all of these

Getting onto the trolley. The wedding party made everything so much fun.

We love seeing/running into couples we have worked with/are working with!! Love you all! Janie & Kendall, Ben & Brittany, Calli & Brett, & Ashley & Michael (Can't wait for 12/18!)

Erin & Ryan had their friends Wes, Ward & Graham who are in a band called The Trio play at their wedding. It may sound a little risky, but trust me, these guys were AWESOME and everyone loved them! I cannot even tell you how hard they worked....I don't think they ever took a break. They were great and their email address is here.

See what I mean?

And we'll end on one of our favorites :) Thanks Erin & Ryan and everyone for being so much fun!! xoxo
