In Watson-Studios' world this next couple is practically legendary! If you've been following us for a while I'm sure you remember Bailee and Reggie from their 3-part engagement shoot. If you're new let me fill you in. Bailee is super creative and if anyone ever had fun planning their engagement session (and wedding) it was her! Example number 1: When we arrived at Bailee & Reggie's engagement session she had three different sets all laid out for us - Vintage, Contemporary & Country. It was so much fun and her pictures have been the talk of the town ever since!

When I fist met Bailee I had no clue she was going to be this much fun...actually I take that back. When we first met she had printed out on paper an example of an engagement shoot that she liked. It was all vintage clothes, vintage style and Bailee was like, "this is what I'm going for!" in that sweet little voice of hers. This girl seriously makes me smile all the time! So, now that you know where we started with these two, following the pictures will be all the more interesting! Bailee & Reggie's wedding was our 2nd Apostolic wedding of the year and if you remember Ashley's wedding you already know that these girls do it up!

I'll keep narrating as we go, but here are just a few details to get you started. Bailee & Reggie gave homemade jelly as their favors and each jar had different color vintage fabrics under the lids.

bailee_wedding_1.jpg

As much as we love shooting details, the real candid moments are the ones we always cherish the most. This is hands down my favorite of the day.
Bailee wore a vintage dress, sparkly high heels and a bird cage veil --- love that girl!

bailee_reggie_w0284c.jpg
A cute little moment with her brothers :)

bailee_wedding_2.jpg
Bailee and Reggie were married in her lifelong church, First Apostolic Church of Maryville. They had their reception at Bailee's house in Greenback and that's where we did all of the photos before hand too.

bailee_wedding_3.jpg
Reggie & Bailee :) did not see each other before the ceremony.

BM & GM

bailee_wedding_6.jpg
More cute stuff. Reggie wore a bow tie and his groomsmen wore ties with different vintage handkerchiefs in the pocket. Cute. Bailee had a map drawn for guests on how to get from the church to the reception.

bailee_wedding_5.jpg

Because of the dramatic lighting in the church during the ceremony, I love all of the ceremony shots in black & white. Here is her step-dad walking her down the aisle and although they are smiling, I can assure you theirs were the only dry eyes in the room.

bailee_reggie_w2339.jpg

Reggie was so happy to see her! He's SUCH a nice guy.

bailee_reggie_w2349-2.jpg

Bailee is so funny. I loved editing her pictures because she just makes me laugh so much!

bailee_reggie_w2454-2.jpg

Pastor Carpenter has known Bailee since she was a little girl. Bailee is BFFs with his daughter and so all of the personal things/stories he told during the ceremony were especially sweet.

bailee_reggie_w2599-2.jpg
They were sooooo cute together during the ceremony!

bailee_reggie_w2609.jpg
Typical Bailee -- I guess she's shy about kissing in public -- so needless to say it was a REALLY quick kiss...I'm actually really surprised we got it! Everyone laughed, it was funny.

bailee_wedding_7.jpg
After the ceremony we stopped along the way to the reception to do our favorite wedding day activity, photograph the bride and groom together.  We just pulled over on the side of the road and it was perfect light, perfect everything, it only took about 15 mins. And just so you know, all of these I LOVE.

And for some reason Bailee doesn't have any problems kissin' in front of us!

Love the one on the left!

bailee_wedding_8.jpg
At the reception Bailee had apple pie and ice cream -- Yum!!

A yummy vintage car,

and root beer floats -- double Yum!

The end!! Thanks for being so amazing and one of the most creative couples we've ever had!! Bailee & Reggie we love you guys!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxooxoxo

Before I get my raving started on how cute this next bride is or how much fun we had shooting thier wedding, I have just a few little notes to pass along!

1). Whew!! These last few weeks have been very busy so please forgive the sometimes long pause in between our wedding posts!! We appreciate all of our faithful readers and we hope you're not getting bored waiting for the next post. If you are, you should check out the Watson-Studios facebook page where we update with little tid bits more frequently.

2). If you are thinking about scheduling an engagement session, bridal session or any other kind of portrait session between now and January you should contact us now.

3). It's almost fall!! Yay!! Just had to throw that in there because we simply can not wait!!

Now, without further delay let me introduce the wedding of Tarah and Michael. Going into it I had no clue how much fun this wedding would be. I'm not sure I've ever seen someone so happy, and sooo adorably cute as Tarah was on her wedding day!! She was like on cloud 9 all day long and her energy just floated us through the whole day and night. Tarah --- can you come sit next to me while we're sitting in front of the computer all winter!?! Seriously, after we left her wedding I tweeted something like, "Just shot a wedding with possibly the cutest bride ever." That was Tarah -- so cute, so happy, and soooo in love!! See right :) and we probably have 500 shots of her looking just as happy and excited!! Her face in every picture is just priceless, these were so much fun to edit and we are so excited to share some with you!!

So here are a few of our favs!!

Tarah & Michael's wedding was held at Graystone Presbyterian Church --- no, we don't have some kind of deal with Graystone, it's definitely just a coincidence that this is Number 3 out of 4 weddings we've done there this year, which is crazy. After the ceremony we headed over to a DECKED OUT Gettysview --- which looked amazing!! You'll see in a min.

Tarah_Michael_1.jpg

Love this bouquet! All of the flowers were done by Allie King at Sassafras -- Amazing!!

tarah_michael_w1233.jpg

Love these. She's writing a letter to Michael and the second picture reminds me that "laughter  through tears is my favorite emotion." - Truvy (Dolly Parton), Steel Magnolias

Tarah_Michael_2.jpg

I always love getting ready shots at Graystone because they have the most perfect backlit window.

Tarah_Michael_3.jpg

They didn't see each other before the ceremony but they did do this:

I've been going on and on about Tarah this whole time but make no mistake, Michael is pretty awesome as well. Such a great guy!

When we first met Rebecca more than a year ago to talk about her wedding, it was just Rebecca, Dan & me. She didn't say a whole lot or ask a ton of questions but the biggest thing I remember about her was that she could not stop grinning the whole time we were talking about her wedding. It was the cutest thing! She literally had a perma-grin she was so excited about being engaged and getting married and it instantly made us fall totally in love with her.

Then we met Seth when they got up at the crack of dawn for their engagement shoot with us.  Seth is just as sweet as Rebecca and a perfect match for her, and hanging out with them together made us all the more excited about their wedding. Since then, we have met so many people who know & love Rebecca and Seth. So, here is a wedding I was really excited about the whole year leading up to it. And there are certainly many aspects I will never forget. Their wedding had a wonderful Southern feel to it with Jack Daniels Lemonade, fried green tomatoes, corn pudding, a huge wedding party, everything draped in peach & baby blue, and to top it off the band playing Rocky Top as they left the reception, to name just a few things :).

Most importantly though, I will never forget the sweet way Rebecca looked at Seth....or the way that he looked at her like she was the most fun & beautiful person he'd ever met. Or the way they danced the night away... Ah, love!

Rebecca & Seth were married at St. George's Episcopal Church in Nashville and the reception  was held at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. It was a lovely, lovely wedding and we were so thrilled to be a part of it!

Here are some of our favorite shots of the day!

She was so excited and it was so fun to be around her all day! Who looks good even when they are getting their hair done? Rebecca!

She is soo cute :)

I love this shot of her sister and mother fixing her gown with the bridesmaids in the background.

rebecca_seth_w0378-2c.jpg
Blue & peach -- such pretty colors and you'll be seeing a lot of them. I really loved the bridesmaids bouquets by A Village of Flowers. They looked very "Anthropologie" to me... and y'all know I love Anthropologie. Hey --- this is totally off topic and kind of old news, but did you know that Anthropologie is going to start doing wedding & bridesmaids dresses starting Spring 2011!! So exciting!! You can read a little bit about it here:

rebecca_seth_w0662c.jpg
13 bridesmaids and 13 groomsmen!!

rebecca_seth_wcombo4.jpg
Plus one ring bearer. Can't forget this little guy!

rebecca_seth_w1743.jpg
Here the girls are praying just moments before the ceremony.

rebecca_seth_w0466-2.jpg
I love this moment with her dad.

rebecca_seth_w1977.jpg
We were not allowed to take any pictures in the sanctuary. We were allowed to stand outside the backdoors and shoot through the window. We did get a few far away shots of the ceremony including this one of the kiss.

rebecca_seth_w2184-2.jpg
Yay, married!! Do you think they are excited...I can't tell :P

rebecca_seth_w2208.jpg
A few details from the reception at Cheekwood. Instead of just dinner tables, they incorporated lounge areas with couches and bar tables into their layout.

rebecca_seth_wcombo8.jpg
We did some shots of Rebecca & Seth just before the sun went down and it was great light.

rebecca_seth_w2808.jpg
I love this one!!

rebecca_seth_w2814-2-2c.jpg
Rebecca & Seth are both teachers which fits their kind personalities perfectly...just a little inside info for ya ;)

rebecca_seth_wcombo5.jpg
This one is my favorite!

rebecca_seth_w3252.jpg
Here is their romantic first dance.

rebecca_seth_w3673b.jpg
The band was great and there was lots of crazy dancing -- yall know I'm a fan.

rebecca_seth_w4000-2.jpg
a little crazy...

rebecca_seth_wcombo6.jpg
a lot crazy...lol!

rebecca_seth_w4526-2.jpg
This one is fun :) Tip ladies: I'm been to my fair share of weddings and if you want to catch the bouquet you're best bet is to get in the front!

rebecca_seth_w4401c.jpg
Sweet ride

The end!! Thanks Rebecca & Seth, you guys were wonderful!! Thank you so much for having us!! xoxoxo
