So far 2011 is going to be a fantastic year!! I'm so, so, so excited about everyone we have booked so far. We've had such a great Fall doing all of the 2011 engagement shoots and this one is no exception. We first met with Kayla and Eldon forever ago!!! It seemed like May 2011 was SO far away then but here we are and it's just right around the corner.
I really love this couple and here are a few little gems that make us smile really, really big :) xx

Woah --- yes, we've been a little slow on the blogging front but it is the Fall, one of our favorite and busiest seasons. We've been on the road almost every weekend for the last 6 weeks and with that we have tons and tons of photos that we're so excited to share. So for the rest of the year and maybe even beyond, we might be blogging out of order, differently, randomly... but hopefully it'll inspire you all the way through the winter :) Yay, we're so, so excited, we ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FALL!! :)
Meet Olivia and Matt. We met Olivia and Matt through our good friends Michelle & Christopher and this engagement shoot was actually took place the day after Michelle & Christopher's wedding (see, I told you we're going out of order, I'm saving Michelle's photos for a very special day) in beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful Banner Elk, NC -- quite possibly the most wonderful place in the world. Within the first five minutes of shooting Olivia and Matt we were completely in love. Their smiles and personalities are infectious and we are beyond (beyond) excited about their wedding next May in New Bern, NC!

We just love engagement shoots. Aside from the drama and emotion of the wedding day, engagement shoots might be my favorite part of our job. Besides being more in control over aspects that help us get good pictures (most importantly light and location), engagement shoots are where we really get to know couples. It's kind of like a double date with cameras... We really enjoy the chance to get to our brides and grooms that way. Anyways, we have tons of engagement shoots lined up for this fall so I'm sure we'll have lots to post even when our weddings wrap at the end of the season...which for us is in four weeks!!
Our beautiful couple for this post, Courtney and Chae, are getting married in November and will be our second to last wedding until we are done for 2010! So, they are a little extra special and we can't wait for their wedding!! Courtney and Chae are a wonderful, sweet, sweet, sweetheart couple (yes, I meant to say it that way) that we both just absolutely adore... We really couldn't be smiling more over these pics, all done in Cades Cove, a part of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (for you out-of-towners).
