I just wanted to quickly post the guestbook we did for the wedding we are currently working on, Katie & Jeremiah. I never got a chance to blog their engagement session because we did the shoot & album all really fast before Christmas and sadly, sometimes there's just not enough time to post everything.

If you don't know that much about our guestbooks, they are a GREAT thing to do with your engagement photos -- I mean seriously what else are you going to do with all those cute photos of yourself!? So here's the deal, we layout all of your favorites and leave a good amount of white space because that's where the guests sign. We can make lines so that they just sign their name OR we can leave it blank so that they can write a message. It's totally up to you. Email us if you are interested in making a guestbook with your engagement photos and would like more info!
Enjoy!
This is my favorite, favorite picture from their shoot. I just love the way she is looking at him! We used it on the cover and on an inside page and I just wanted to display it big here too ;)

Katie chose a navy blue leather for her guestbook which was a 6x9 in size --- her wedding colors were navy and silver -- very appropriate, I think, for a winter wedding!

This would be the inside cover on the left and the first page on the right.

I just realized this is our first post of 2010! So exciting because I know this is going to be a great, great year for Watson-Studios.... I can just FEEL IT! I haven't picked up the camera once this year (ha,ha) but I'm so, so, so excited about this weekend's wedding and it has something to do with this next post. My bride Katie & Jeremiah, who you haven't met yet, are getting married at the location of this engagement shoot, Hunter Valley Farm.
AND, da,da,da ----- it's suppose to snow on Thursday!!!!! And if it does, I don't think it's going to be warm enough to melt off the grass before then! I know it's kind of like putting all of your eggs in one basket to say it's going to really snow here, and please don't take this as I want her wedding to get snowed out and I really will feel sorry if she's cold but I mean this. could be. a true. winter wedding!! With real winter wedding pictures!! I'm totally stoked!!!!!

So on to the main event, meet Lauren & Travis! They are getting married this spring at Hunter Valley Farm and decided to do their engagement pics there. It was great because we really got to explore the property.
So here's our latest engagement session and here's to a fabulous 2010 for everyone!

The End!! Thanks Lauren & Travis!! We can't wait for May 21st!

Now that Christmas is over (and I hope everyone had a great Christmas!) we've got a little gem of a wedding to show you. It's the wedding of Kristen and Benji (and I just love the name Benji!). They were married at the Historic Bleak House and everything about their special day was just delightful: it was a perfect late fall day but still warm, the weather couldn't have been any better, and the light was amazing! And on top of all that, Kristen and Benji are like super cool! Here are a few of our favorites!! Enjoy!

Kristen was beautiful and her makeup looked great, she had it done at Belleza.

Kristen's dress was just perfect! And if those sheers (is that the right word?) ever go missing from the Bleak House don't look at me! I really want that cuteness....

Kristen and Benji :)

Wedding party

Some things I like... I especially loved their cake, which was made by one of their friends (can you believe it!?! -- It was soooo pretty!). I also love that smile on the little red-headed ring bearer, he's trying so hard! I'm loving that color green and they threw pumpkin seeds instead of rose petals!!

h

Ok, here are two candids from the ceremony that I love: a kiss from her father and...

...and this little fussbudget. Isn't she adorable?!!

A few more shots from the ceremony.

And the reception!

We always love twinkle lights:)

Ta-da! The end!!! Congrats Kristen & Benji ---HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
