Ashley & Peter: Napa Destination Wedding

November 6, 2012

One of our favorite weddings of all times is being featured on Style Me Pretty  today and I’m so pumped for it to be on our blog too! I’m so excited because it’s one of the most magical weddings we’ve ever been a part of!  Ashley & Peter are a wonderful couple we had the absolute pleasure of working with for their 65-ish person destination wedding to Napa, CA. (Yes! Dan and I are the two luckiest people on earth! ) Not only did we get to go to Napa, we got to photograph one of the most beautiful, intimate, special, awesome weddings we could ever imagine.  Their friends and family shared a festive weekend together wine tasting, eating delicious foods, wine tasting, eating more wonderful food… it was perfect. Peter is a chef and the couple had so much fun treating their guests to something  more like a fantastic dinner party, followed by raucous dancing at the end of the night, of course! :) During the dinner Peter stood up before each course and talked about the dish and where all of the special ingredients came from – from friend’s farms in Tennessee, France, New York, Kentucky, Pennsylvania. The focus was the  dinner, the food, the pretty stemware, rustic tables & centerpieces (some were old gutters that Ashley ordered from France) — simply wonderful! Everyone enjoyed fantastic food and drink, gorgeous weather, light and lots of love! Be sure to read more about it in Ashley’s words on Style Me Pretty, their story and planning process.

For now, I’m just going to start sharing!! There’s a billion details, some really sweet candid moments, even collages taken from their wedding album. Just something a little different! Yay! Enjoy!! :)

A page straight from their wedding album highlighting pre-Saturday moments and people!

Looking at these gorgeous shoes reminds me! Aren’t these the most perfect wedding shoes ever!?

The Happy Envelope… to die for!

Ashley & Peter were married on a private farm which was laid out perfectly for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception THEN fire pits and s’mores as the night ended.

Gorgeous and very sweet wedding ceremony
