I’m literally having to tear myself away from this next (oh so gorgeous!) wedding. Why? Because for Katarina & Justin’s wedding we traveled to Mendocino, CA (the most magnificant place on earth) for a magical weekend among, oh, just Redwoods, vineyards, the roaring Pacific ocean with seals, whales, cliffs… wildflowers galore, stars galore, perfect weather, just to name a few. So much more beautiful than we even could have imagined. It is truly like no place else and honestly I can’t get it off my mind, I have to go back. It’s a gorgeous setting for a wedding, so romantic plus a fun place to explore! We first met Katarina & Justin a few years ago when some of our best friends, Michelle & Christopher, got married. Katarina & Christopher are brother and sister. Katarina and Justin live north of San Diego and (I think) they live the the quintessential California lifestyle — they just surf and eat sushi all day! No just kidding, but that’s how I like to think of them.:) Katarina and Justin run a business together and Katarina is actually a real life model, in fact, the first one we’ve ever worked with for a wedding. It was fun, and she and Justin are great together, so fun, adventurous & happy.
I can’t go on without crediting the wonderful people at Mendocino Weddings (who actually live in this magical place!). They truly did an amazing job in making this destination wedding everything Katarina & Justin wanted. The ceremony and reception took place at the Mallory House at the Little River Inn, and the other vendors are at the end of the post, for those of you who want to look it up and copy this wedding… just make sure you have the same photographers too! ;)
Ok y’all this is a long post and like I said, I’m having to make myself stop. The time is up but I know y’all are going to love this wedding and couple as much as we do!

This heart in her dress was sewn from 3 pieces of fabric: her mother’s wedding dress, her dad’s scrubs from when she and her brothers were born (triplets) and a piece from her brother’s soccer jersey.
