I first met Candace and Jeremy in 2009 just a few days after their son Luke was born. I think they found us online, called, and sort of a whim I said I was available to do a newborn shoot. I drove out to their house honestly thinking that I probably shouldn’t have said yes because we were so busy at the time. I’m so glad I did! That day was the beginning of I think five-ish shoots now and a great relationship between Candace, Jeremy, Dan and I . They sort of feel like family to us, we just love them!
They have bunch of contrasty black and whites on their walls from that first shoot with Luke and so when baby Caleb was just a few days old I went to shoot him in the same sort of way so that they could add to that collection on their living room wall and have it all match. I love nothing more than to go into a clients house and see our photos displayed so I can’t wait to see the finished wall with both boys!

Hey Y’all! I decided it’s Wednesday kids-day here at Watson-Studios. Even though we’re normally covered up with weddings and not posting too many family sessions, we LOVE doing them, especially now that we have a little one too! Here are some fun photo shoots we did this fall! Enjoy! :)

In honor of my friend Ashley of Ashley Hoskins Photography having her baby Jackson over the weekend — and man oh man I cannot wait to get my hands on that little sweetheart!! — I’m posting a few photos from her maternity shoot! We got to know Ashley and Justin a few years ago when we did their engagement shoot & wedding. Since then we’ve become great friends. Love you guys can’t wait to meet Wyatt’s new baby BFF!
Oh how all of these precious little people make us soooo excited to meet our little baby! We’re counting down the weeks until our little one arrives!! And, since we’ve got babies on our minds 24/7 these days, I had to put together this little post. As most of you know, in addition to weddings, Dan and I do a number of family sessions throughout the year. Here are some cuties from this fall that we especially adore!! (p.s. we get sooo many inquiries for family photo shoots in the fall, we can never accommodate everyone, so if you’re interested in that for this year, start planning and get in touch with us early – the earlier the better!).
