This Loveless Barn wedding is one post that is not to be missed. Especially if you’re looking for some brunch wedding inspiration. Liz and Eric wanted a different experience for their wedding and their guests. To achieve that they planned a brunch wedding. Most of their guests came from out of town. Many had never even been to Nashville before. So, they were excited to share the city that they love to call home with their family and friends. They wanted to give their guests a true Nashville experience so they decided to have their wedding at The Loveless Barn, part of the famous Loveless Cafe. The Loveless Cafe is a Nashville institution known for it’s Southern food and country charm. The Barn is a beautiful event space with a courtyard for outdoor wedding ceremonies and an indoor space for receptions of almost any size.
Liz and Eric were such a cute couple and we loved photographing their wedding! During the bride and groom portraits they had so much fun together, you could definitely tell that they were totally in love with each other. Their wedding took place on a beautiful fall day. Since it was a brunch wedding they served mimosas, chicken and waffles, and other brunch fare. Liz and Eric love to play games together, so they also had trivia games and yard games for their guests to play during the the cocktail hour and reception. The guests had a great time playing games while enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
The amazing staff at Loveless Events put together the perfect wedding for Liz and Eric. They, along with their guests, all had an incredible time, and got to experience some of the best that Nashville has to offer. We wish Liz and Eric and all the happiness in the world and can’t wait to see what these two do together in life.

We recently photographed the very first Nashville Public Library wedding, and we are so excited to share the images! The ceremony took place at West End United Methodist Church, followed by a beautiful reception at the Nashville Public Library’s Main Library, located in downtown Nashville on Church Street. West End United Methodist’s beautiful courtyard and stunning sanctuary provided the perfect backdrop for photography. The church only allows photographs to be taken from the balcony during the ceremony, which creates a challenge for photographers. Having photographed many weddings with the same policy, we were prepared with our tripod and long zoom lens and were able to capture the ceremony perfectly.
The reception took place in the courtyard of the Nashville Public Library, where guest were free to wander around and explore the lovely sculptures and landscape. There was a beautiful fountain in the middle which created a lovely ambiance and looked great in the photos! We were so honored to be the first to photograph a wedding at the Nashville Public Library!
Jen and Jonathan were the sweetest couple and it was a pleasure to work with them throughout the wedding planning process. They met and became friends in 2005 while attending the University of Tennessee. After graduation they went their separate ways but stayed in touch and hung out whenever they found themselves in the same town. Finally, in 2013, Jonathan expressed his feelings for Jen and they began dating long distance – eventually winding up together in Memphis. The rest, as they say, is history!
Jen and Jonathan’s wedding was beautifully coordinated by the talented Helen Morisette of Weddings By Helen. The gorgeous flowers were provided by Terry White of The English Garden. The Erik Blue Band played the best music and kept the guests dancing until the very end!
