One of our favorite couples from 2012 is on the Style Me Pretty right now so head on over to check out Kara + Slade’s very fun, sheik, farm-y wedding at the Inn at Serenbe — a fantastic venue just south of Atlanta. I love it!
It’s wonderful to have weddings featured on Style Me Pretty for the pretty detail shots that inspire other brides. However, the heart of every wedding and what makes each wedding’s photos truly unique are those glimpses into the soul of the couple and what it was really like on their wedding day. Nothing could be more beautiful than those feelings and moments. This is one of my favorite getting ready sequences we’ve ever done because I think it captures that joy… And I don’t think we could have gotten it all if it weren’t for Dan and I work together on every shoot — all the moments plus all the details — without each other, it just wouldn’t be possible. This January we had the pleasure of shooting a beautiful wedding in Knoxville and the day could not have been more non-wintery! It was a gorgeous afternoon for sweet Emily & Michael who have just moved to the Netherlands, Michael’s home country. What a fun way to start life together! Emily & Michael have been pure joy to work with. Their reception took place at a new venue in Knoxville, TN called the Southern Depot located near the Old City. I have a feeling we’ll be shooting a lot of weddings there in the future! :)
