Holy smokes is it gorgeous outside or what!!? We're getting ready to head out for a wedding this weekend and I'm just *loving* Fall so far...BUT, before we get too far into the cool temps we've got a few dreamy affairs to share from this summer. We loved, LOVED all of these weddings and the couples even more! Gosh this has been a busy and amazing year!
First up is the wedding of Cassie and Ben. You might rememebr Cassie and Ben from their engagement shoot Dan did solo this past spring when I was humongously pregnant...(and I promise an update on baby Wyatt is coming soon!). Cassie and Ben's lovely wedding took place at their church in Gatlinburg followed by an outdoor reception. The scenery was gorgeous and everything about this wedding was just so, so, so, so sweet!

Next up is the wedding of Shanna and Patrick. You might remember sweet Shanna as the cute-ie bride of ours who took in that baby kitten that showed up on our doorstep. And if you follow me on twitter, you might remember that is the same kitten I tried to take around Lakeshore in an Baby Bjorn when I was nine months pregnant... don't try that ladies, it did not go well.
Shanna and Patrick were married at First Presbyterian downtown with a reception at the Foundry. It was pouring rain most of the day, which is actually good luck at a wedding they say. And, luckily it cleared up just long enough to get some great shots of the two of them before their reception. It was a cozy, romantic kind of day and I just love anything at the Foundry, that space has so much character. Here are some of my favorite 'moments' of the day! :)

Next up is the wedding of Darcey and Charlie. They were married at Central Baptist of Bearden with a reception at one of our absolute favorite venues in Knoxville, Dara's Garden. Darcey and Charlie had a huge bridal party that liked to party :) So, it was just a really fun day and a huge celebration! I have loved working with Darcey, she's sweet, spunky and sassy! Always a huge smile on her face!

We loved their reception on the lawn at Dara's!

The end!! Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!! ;)

Happy Sunday y'all! That's right we're blogging on a Sunday, a miracle I know.... Guess what else I'm doing today!? Driving to Jefferson, NC by myself to do an engagement shoot with a couple I've never met. Seven hours in the car by myself! Post Wyatt, I can't remember the last time I've had that much time to myself... WHAT in the world will I think about, what will I do??...lol... Hopefully chat it up with my friends the whole way in a 2,3,4 or maybe 5-way call. Don't worry I have an ear piece Dan got me for just this sort of thing.
For now I want to share a slice of a wedding we did in the mountains of Kentucky earlier this summer. I loooooved this wedding. The bride and groom, Meaghan & Seth, who you may remember from their super cute engagement shoot last fall with their dog Colin -- were just as sweet as they could be. There are so many great pictures from their wedding. As I was finishing up her album I noticed a few images that I wanted to try in black and white (y'all are going to laugh at me but I always think people with blonde hair look extra good in black and white.. true or not that might just be a Natalie-ism) but I thought I'd post a few just for fun!
Happy Sunday! And if you need to call me today, I'm available ;)

These two are just magic together. It sort of gives me chills how Seth looks at Meaghan. I can tell he's like really, really into her :)

I love this one in color and in B&W... her eyes are amazing!

Gosh I love this one

Meahgan and her dad share a moment just before she walks down the aisle... (Chills, right!?)

They got married in this field... they mowed just the area where the chairs went and there was tall grass all around.... LOVED that!

I love happy people!

And this first dance pic! Hope everyone is having a great weekend, wish me luck on my shoot :)

I was taking this little ring bearer and flower girl's picture at a wedding from earlier this year and the little boy, who had lots and lots of personality, said "wait, I got a shot for you" (he literally said the word 'shot' - haha). He reached over, grabbed the little girl's hand and kissed her! I barely got it, it happened so fast but it was sooo cute and totally made my day. Hope you think it's pretty cute too :)
