...I've got to brag on my husband and business partner for a second! 

We recently found out that Dan won 1st place in the Details and Interiors category of the International 2010 Top Knots: New School of Wedding Photography Competition.  The Top Knots competition is one of the largest and most prestigious wedding photography competitions in the world. When we were entering a few of our photos, I remember thinking that it would be nice to get something featured sometime in the next 5 years or so! So I was really stoked to find out we got one in our first try! 

I got home from this next shoot and called my Mom because she knows Katie. I was telling her all about Katie's fiancee Johan, who was so, so nice and his three year old daughter Silvia, who is adorable (and Dan and I are totally in love with her). And then I was like, "I mean mom, I can't even act normal around Katie because she's just soooo beautiful!" And my mom was like, "I know me too!" You'll see what I mean in a second... Anyways, Katie & Johan's wedding is in just a few weeks! It's our first of the season and we couldn't be more excited that it's with them. Their wedding is going to be such a celebration of life and love and  I know it'll be one that will inspire us for the whole year!

Wooah! All of this spring gorgeousness has caused a lot of photography to happen in the last couple weeks!! We've got so much to share so the next few posts might be kinda short & sweet so we can get everybody in! Just fyi... :)
