Nan and David's wedding was our first ever morning wedding and it was such a delight. Those are strong words coming from self-proclaimed night owls such as ourselves! And how could it not be totally our pleasure when you arrive to a smile such as this:

Nan & David's wedding & reception was planned to the 'T' by (the wonderful) Donna Jacobs. You know you are a good wedding planner when the father of the bride is thanking you in his welcome to the reception speech! We have worked with Donna before and she not only makes the wedding events run perfectly smooth, she has a calming presence on everyone around her -- she.is.just.fantastic.
Nan & David's ceremony took place at 11:30 AM followed by a brunch reception complete with a Jazz Band at Club LeConte. How sweet is that!?
Love this next picture of her sister fussing over her.

David was definitely all smiles too :). Nan and David are both dentists, well actually I believe David is an oral surgeon, and they truly seem to be a perfect match for one another! I could see in the way they looked at one another that they were truly best friends.

I loved these bouquets by Always in Bloom! (Full list of vendors with links at the end of this post).

Some details from the church and reception.

It was a very thoughtful ceremony.

I haven't blogged one of these in a while. I always love the exchanging of rings.

Cute, fun wedding party.....

...and one of them was extra fun! Ha! The End! Thanks for a great day Nan & David!! xx

I fell madly and crazily in love with this next couple when we booked them last year and I'm just beside myself that their wedding is literally T minus 6 days! Meet Amanda & Ryan. Amanda is a gorgeous and totally down to earth and Ryan is a super cool pilot! AND he took her up in a tiny plane on their first date! Talk about first date jitters but HOW romantic is that!?!

We have a crazy, awesome week and weekend ahead of us and I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding this Saturday!!
Happy Monday!

Look at her cute face on the right. How can you not love her!?!

My crystal ball sees blonde babies in their future ;)

The End! Amanda & Ryan we can't wait to see you guys in a few days!!!

On the morning of Lauren & Travis's wedding I rolled over in bed, grabbed my phone and started looking up the weather. Sometimes if I know that they're calling for rain I'll stop looking a few days in advance with the hopes of giving it time to change -- that's just my little good luck charm :). Anyways I immediately saw that it said 80% chance of rain! Oh no!!! I shoved the phone in Dan's direction to let him see and rolled back over --- Gaaah! I mean rain isn't the worst thing in the world by any means but no one exactly wishes for it on their wedding day. It was suppose to be an outdoor ceremony at Hunter Valley Farm. Although Lauren & Travis had a backup plan they (of course) didn't like it as much as their original plan and I just knew she might be a tad bit disappointed.

So, when we got going I loaded our raincoats and huge umbrellas in the car but there was no sign of rain rain. We got there, started taking pics, still no rain.. Lauren's mom told us at that they had to decide by 4:30 if they were going to move everything inside or not and she was taking a poll - my vote was for outside (of course). They ended up taking a chance on the outdoors and IT NEVER RAINED!! It was actually sunny during their ceremony. So lucky.
So my new philisophy is that unless actual, significant rain drops are coming down with no end in site, don't venture from plan A. If you think about it, most outdoor wedding ceremonies only last about 15-20 minutes anyways. That's such a small window that chances are, you're good. And even if it does start to drizzle, really, it's not a big deal. We've been to least 6 outdoor weddings were it was actually drizzling during the ceremony and no one seemed to mind. It just is what it is... the weather in the southeast :P.
We had so much fun at Lauren and Travis's wedding. Everyone was great and it was just a really, really nice day. We've had a great time working with Lauren and Travis, they are such an amazing couple! Here are a few of our faves!

Lauren was stunning!

ISO like 2000 in the bathroom, girls praying for no rain, and as you already know, it worked!!

Beautiful, sweet ceremony. Check out that sun!!!

Love this nice classic pic by Dan of the two of them. I think one day they'll look at this picture and think gosh we were young!!

We pulled Lauren and Travis out of the reception for just a few minutes before sunset.

Their first dance :)

A little bit softer now, a little bit softer now...

We asked Lauren's friends what they wanted to write and they said LARVIS, get it?

This next one might be my favorite!
The End! Congrats Lauren and Travis - thank you so much for having us!!
