This is only the second senior portrait session Dan and I have ever done together (the first was Lauren) and it was SO MUCH FUN! We really loved it and want to do more! Part of the reason it was so fun was Macy was such an awesome girl to work with. We first met Macy when we spoke to her high school photography class earlier this year... Isn't she such a doll!?Ahhhh, to be young again!

*Erika and Jeff ---- you are next!!
Here are a few of our faves:

Doesn't the Old City look extra cool in this pic -- I think it's the bike we borrowed from someone at Java.

Macy brought along her new puppy, Harlow, who also turned out to be an adorable prop for the shoot.

I thought her little nose scrunch was just too cute :)

Not only is Macy pretty, she can jump too :)

and cartwheel! AND text about a 1,000 words per minute (I've seen it first hand)!!

Get it, Class of 2010? Thanks Macy!! Hope you have a great senior year!!

Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by our booth Sunday at the Premier Bride Bridal Show in Knoxville. This was our first show and we had so much fun meeting everyone!
Of course we forgot to bring a camera to take a picture of our booth, but here is one from my phone :). Also a HUGE THANKS to Hallie, Claire, Potter and Adam who helped us get ready for the show and set up our booth on Saturday while we were shooting Becca & Billy's wedding!

Speaking of Mrs. Becca, I think I can finally post a bridal portrait since the big day has come and gone! This is my fave:

Good morning! First on mind today --- I just want to say thank you to all of our clients! We truly have the most wonderful jobs and I just want everyone to know how much each and everyone of you means to us. You all are awesome and you guys make our day, everyday.
Second, I just wanted to mention that our availability for portrait sessions in 2009 is filling up fast. If you would like to do something in 2009, we should probably get something on the calendar.
Now for the main event... This post is a conglomeration of family and child portrait sessions I've done recently and not so recently... none of which we've blogged :)
First up is the Ford family.
And, yall, I'm in love... with Twins!!! I told their mom and she said I could have one --- LOL. She also said they had been to the ER twice in the last 8 days! They are a handful but darn cute and really funny. They are 2.
Here is one

And here is the other.... this little guy is fearless.

And here is their big brother Ethan. He is 4 1/2 and

really cute too.

I love this one

It seemed like any time they came anywhere near each other, they'd all end up falling down. Really funny.

That middle one is a ham.

The whole family

The ham is on the left here... I love that face.

And here is another one of our beautiful families..... This is little Brady :) He has such beautiful eyes!

We need some girls in here!! So, this is my friend Krista's little darling girl back in January... She was probably about 1 1/2 months old here.

Isn't she beautiful!?

She has really pretty doe shaped eyes.

Krista and I have been walking Lakeshore since we were in high school -- we say it's for physical and mental therapy because we run our mouths the whole time and cover lots of topics. Here we are at Lakeshore with MC for the first time. Doesn't Krista have the coolest hair? I've been jealous of it my whole life!!

I made this for my girls (The NC ya-yas) but decided you all might like it too. So Sunday after Tyler & Slate's wedding we all checked out of our hotel rooms and headed over to Ashley's house to say goodbye to our dear, dear friend Erin, who recently moved to Boston. We ended up staying most of the day, just hanging out on a blanket in Ashley's yard. I had my little point and shoot but at some point we decided to get out a real camera because we were having a great time just being together.... even though we were all "sleep-deprived" from our fun-filled weekend with Tyler and Slate. Consider yourself forewarned - we all look horrible! but the babies are cute!
The little baby is Ella, for those who remember Erin's belly shots :). She was born April 17 and has had that much hair since she was born! And then the boys are Thomas, who just turned 5, and Jonah, Ashley and Jason's baby, who was born last September. Soooo cute.
Enjoy! The End! (finally)
