I did these pictures a while ago and never got around to blogging them because it was right before Christmas...This session was of my BFFE's 4 kids and their two cousins. After the session, I made this Christmas Card for Lindsay's family. I was thinking about this the other day because I want to start offering this service to all of my family clients for the 2009 holidays. The only way to do it is if everybody thinks ahead and books sessions nice and early....so think about that for this year. Any session(s) we do in 2009 before - oh, say October - can be made into a card for December - so keep that in mind.
Here is the card........ I think I've done one every year (even if it's way late - Lindsay and I are big time procrastinators when it comes to our personal lives) and all or almost all of their birth announcements . The other images are from the session - some in the card, some not, and some of the cousins. Enjoy!

Lindsay is like the best mom model (and best friend ever!!!). (AND we have been friends since we were younger than her daughter is in this picture!)

Look at this little model!...we told him to keep a straight face.

But he couldn't hold it for long!

That what I call a fabulous outfit for pictures!

Maybe an all-time fav of Lindsay and one of her kids.......

cousins :)

All the cousins!

That is Pony - he is my favorite horse here at the farm. He was very suspicious of the humans with wings - he followed us around and would not take his eyes off the girls. He really thought they were real! It was funny....

I loooved Julie from the very first time I talked to her on the phone........ she called us forever ago about her wedding in October of this year. I think it was one of the first weddings we booked for 2009. Julie lives in Columbia, TN so we were on the phone..... she was so cute and delightful and totally loved our work - I knew we were a great fit without even meeting in person. Since then I've gotten to know Julie better through our shared interest (and obsession) with the Twilight Series and I've gotten to meet Julie and Danny twice now - once at her venue, the beautiful Blue Mountain Mist Inn, and then a couple of weeks ago for their engagement shoot.....I love her even more now!! She has the cutest laugh it's like a - 'he, he, he' kind of laugh and a huge smile, which I'm also a big fan of. Julie and Danny are in their own little world together and it's really sweet how playful and caring they are with each other.....I think you get a good feel for a couple by observing them through the camera and lets just say Julie and Danny have great things ahead of them.......

Love you guys xoxoxo!!
We started the shoot at this old building in Sweetwater..... we really loved the old brick!!

To me, this describes their personality....

so sweet....

love the texture....

Bling, bling!

After the old building we headed over to this beautiful farm. They really wanted to use an old barn as a backdrop for their pics and this was the perfect place!!!! Thanks so much to the people who own it!!

This might be my favorite!

I'm posting a lot.....normally I have a handful of clear favorites and post just those but I really can't decide so I'm just going to keep going....

Like this one a lot too.....
