Just wanted to quickly share Becca & Billy's Guestbook design. Guestbooks are one of our most popular products and I absolutely love them. I think it is the cutest thing you can do with your engagement pictures! In Becca's book, guests will sign on the white part of the page. Couples can get a book with lines for signatures or leave it blank for yearbooks-style messages. Becca wanted it blank so that guests could write a message - such a personal and sentimental keepsake!

The guestbooks, like all of our albums, come in a variety of leather choices, metallic, or Japanese cloth. They also come in different colors. You can have an image on the front cover or leave it blank - there are so many ways to customize this book - if you can dream it, we can usually build it! Like I said, I looove these books and I'm really excited about Becca and Billy's. When you click on the link, remember that each image is actually a two-page spread, so the book will fold in the middle of each spread.

I'm (Natalie) in Hilton Head right now and literally as I'm typing this, I'm wondering if my friend Erin is going to come into the room and say, "It's time to go to the hospital." She is ready to P-O-P! I came down here for a few days to help her pig-out and be here in case she goes into labor before her induction tomorrow ------and just to have a few last days of R&R before we get super slammed with the wedding season.
Erin is one of my best friends and pretty much the most laid back person I know - AND, she's tough as nails... and I'm pretty sure any one of our girlriends would say the exact same thing. So, being the most laid back person in the world, even in this most uncomfortable state, Erin was like "yeah, sure" when I said let's go outside and take some pics today.
OH, one thing - I forgot my memory cards as I grabbed my camera at the last minute and so I was limited to 100 pics, which is NOTHING for me, like 20 minutes. So, that's why there's not that much variety, this was a really short shoot.

Meet Becca and Billy. They met and dated twice when they were in high school, once in 2001, once in '02. SIX years later Billy was stationed in England in the Airforce. He came home on leave and sent Becca a message on Facebook and Becca quotes him, "I would like to catch up in the most non-creepy way" (isn't that funny?) ...They met up and well, the rest is history!
Billy has been stationed in Iraq for the last four months and came home in March. Becca and originally booked us for Sept. 12 but had to move their date to Aug. 8 because Billy is getting re-deployed at the end of August - boo!
You will have to check back in a few days - I'm planning on posting their Guest Book proof - and we're really excited about it.
They are VERY MUCH in love and I can't wait to show these pics! So let's get going...
We started downtown and ended up at Cherokee Blvd. Becca had on this great dress....and it was windy....here is her very candid Marilyn Monroe shot!
Dan and I often ask people to do things during the eng shoot because it's fun and sometimes you get some great pictures. Becca is a pretty 'high energy' girl so when Dan said, "Show us what you did when you first saw Billy when he returned from Iraq," Becca literally took off running! It was really funny, because Becca was REALLY fast, even in those high heels - it was pretty impressive and sweet! I knew straight away I wanted to process these images like this.... I LOVE the way it'll look in their guestbook! It will look great as a huge canvas print too!
This one looks Easter (ish) to me...
He thinks she's really funny and crazy - and she is!! - and I love her too!!

To me, this looks like an old fashioned jewelry box - you know, the kind that plays music when you open it and Becca is the ballerina :)

We did this shot for their Save the Date cards.......I'm not sure if she'll end up using it but I think it's pretty cute. The end!
