If you thought I was going to let you down, hahahaha you're wrong! I aim to please (and keep my word) because here at 10 pm on Sunday, just two hours shy of midnight, I have the promised 'later-on-this-week' blog post of Stephanie and Marc's wedding... held back to the last possible minute because of some annoying computer problems here at casa Watson. Let me just say thank goodness for Dan, I swear we would be crashed and closed up without him! He's a tech-ie genius and the man of my dreams!! ♥
If you like pretty weddings prepare yourself for falling in love because this is a really, really cute wedding from Lexington, KY earlier this season! We loooooved it. The minute we showed up and I saw the red shoes and red lipstick I knew it was going to be *like* a really, really fun day!
I'm pretty sure Stephanie and Marc planned their wedding date around our availability and when a couple does that -- swoon -- I'm waaay in love before we ever even show up to shoot. It's always the hugest honor. Stephanie and Marc were so sweet to us and we just had a great time being around them on their special day.

For us, every spring and fall are the busiest times of the year because the weather is just so nice. We do lots and lots of shooting and while we would love to do a huge long blog post on every job we do, it's just impossible. Bummer right!?! Y'all know know I like to go on and on and...on. :) Even though we had little Wyatt enter our world, this spring was no exception, we were busy bees, shooting our fist wedding less than 4 weeks after he was born! We had two weeks off after that and then did 13 straight weekends! Whew! We enjoyed a nice little break this summer and we're back at it this weekend... which gosh, honestly I'm soooo ready, this Saturday off business is totally overrated! Here are some of our favorites from weddings and a few portrait sessions this spring!

I literally had to stop myself from biting this little baby at Whitney & Danny's wedding when he was just 6 days old, he is their sweet little Nephew and I loved taking his little picture... and just 8 days old in these!

Our second Paige this year and this one I've unfortunately never met. Paige came to us already married wanting some bridal portraits. Dan did this bridal portrait session by himself shortly after I had baby Wy. I loved the results and goodness she's stunning!!

This bride is not only gorgeous, she's super nice and so is her husband... they're all around the real deal! We loved their engagement shoot last fall and loved their wedding this spring even more! I've never seen someone look so stunning in curlers!

..and y'all, their friends love to dance! No doubt one of the funnest receptions all year!! Kicked off by a surprise choreographed dance by Danny and his brother -- I'd say it was a huge hit!

An engagement shoot done at our farm solely by dear old Dan. These two are really fun and I'm sure we'll be posting lots from her bridal session and their wedding this summer! I love the light in these!

This next couple will always have a special place in my heart. Wow, what a guy and what a kind hearted girl. Dan and I had so much fun shooting their wedding in Farragut earlier this spring. The farmer across the street from their church let us use his property for a backdrop for photos. We loved them and the results!

This is soooo great!! I love all of them, and Marc and I were sitting here cracking up about some of these because it reminded us of how nuts our friends are :) You guys were so great!! We couldn't have asked for more!!
