Dan's the man...
...I've got to brag on my husband and business partner for a second! 

We recently found out that Dan won 1st place in the Details and Interiors category of the International 2010 Top Knots: New School of Wedding Photography Competition.  The Top Knots competition is one of the largest and most prestigious wedding photography competitions in the world. When we were entering a few of our photos, I remember thinking that it would be nice to get something featured sometime in the next 5 years or so! So I was really stoked to find out we got one in our first try! 

Dan is the only photographer in the South, and one of only three photographers in the United States to receive a 1st place award this year. The competition was sponsored by Photo District News magazine (PDN) and TheKnot.com.

This is the photo that won - it was from Erin & Chris's wedding in Charleston, SC in May last year. It was featured full page in PDN magazine this month.  Click here to check out all of the winners and finalists.

And here is how everything looked in the magazine!! I made a blue arrow on the parts where he was specifically mentioned :) Yay Dan!!!
