Remember like a month or so ago when we said we'd really like to do an engagement shoot with a canoe, field of flowers, balloons...? Well we've done all 3 of those plus a shoot with a TANDEM bike (!) and a Vintage, Contemporary & Country themed shoot as well. We've definitely got some really exciting stuff in the works!
First off, I'm loving the outdoors in this engagement shoot on the Tennessee River. When we suggested a canoe, we had no idea it would actually fit with anyone's personality/hobbies but apparently a day on the river is not far from the norm for this couple! Erin and Ryan brought their canoe over to our farm and opened the back hatch of Ryan's vehicle I felt like I was looking at a fishing store. There were poles, vests, nets you name it! So fun...
We really cannot say enough about this couple. It is truly our pleasure to work with them. Not only are Erin & Ryan super gorgeous, there're even nicer than they are pretty if you can even believe that. I'm totally in love with them and SO thrilled to be thier wedding photographers in Knoxville later this year.
See what I mean? What's not to love about these two?

I can't wait to design their guestbook. It's going to be so unbelievably cute!!

There is no such thing as a bad picture of Erin.

Ryan is SO SWEET to Erin. You might see her 'paddling' in a few pictures but trust me, Ryan had it covered.

Love the one of them on the right!

For some reason I really, really love this picture. I wish I had one of Dan and I like this.

a Watson-Studios classic...

I happened to be in the grocery store on the phone with my friend Michelle (whose wedding we'll be doing later this year!) telling her about our upcoming shoot and the marshmallows were totally her idea - so fun!

Mmmm... So sweet!

The light was amazing - we live for moments like this!!

Remember when I said Erin couldn't take a bad picture? I mean, my gosh she is gorgeous!

Definitely a favorite. The end!

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of taking some belly shots for a super beautiful, cool, delightful girl named Emily, who just a few days ago gave birth to a (I'm sure beautiful and all of the above) little girl named Elliot Louise :)... And wow, I'm just CRAZY about that name!
Emily was due on April 25 so we did the pictures on the 7th - I believe she was 37 or 38 weeks... which you would want to know if you were ever thinking about doing belly shots. I would say 35-39 weeks is the ideal time to get your maternity photos done.
So without further adieu, here are some of my favorites from our little session!

Love these two

This one might be my favorite :)

And that is a good lookin' belly!

Congrats Heath, Emily and baby Elliot Louise! xx

Meet Mackenzie -- a super cute & artsy Karns High School senior and let me tell you her senior portraits have been a long time in the making! We first scheduled this session for January and found ourselves rained out for literally every Wednesday and Friday we were both available since then!! It was ridiculous! We're so glad the sun seems to be here to stay and that we finally got to meet Mackenzie and shoot her senior portrait session!

We shot her photos in downtown Knoxville. Here are just a few of our faves!

Possibly my favorite

Or this one - look at those gorgeous eyes! Good luck in college Mackenzie, we know you'll do great!!
