I'm pretty sure one of the most spectacular events we've photographed this year was Kit & Bobby's wedding. You might remember their engagement pictures from a few months ago -- there was a bike and a horse who wanted to snack on Bobby's hair.
Kit and Bobby's gorgeous wedding seemed to be truly tailor-made. To understand this bride and groom a little -- they are both from Knoxville, TN but have lived in NYC for a long time. And, in their wedding, they definitely seemed to blend those two worlds together. During the day it was a gorgeous southern wedding on a horse farm in East Tennessee. And then at night, it was transformed into a really chic outdoor party. You could see all of Kit's elegant, chic style in every detail. They were married at Penrose Farm -- a beautiful private residence and horse farm made even more wedding-fantastic by Libby Fisher of Libby Fisher Designs. At the bottom of this post I'll list the full team of vendors who helped make this event such a huge success!

Now, on to some of our favorite shots of the day!!
The dress was a one of a kind Vera Wang!!

Kit's make-up artist, Andrew Peterson, said Audrey Hepburn was his inspiration for her make-up that day and she totally looked the part!

Of course, the shoes were incredible too. One of her friends said of her Jimmy Choos, "that's so very Carrie Bradshaw of you" :)

I just loved that portrait of Kit when she was little.

Daytime details.

I love the seriousness of this one.

And the not so seriousness of this one :)

I actually like this kiss pic a little better than the ceremony 'first kiss' because this was a moment just after the ceremony between the two of them that was totally spontaneous - a we're just so happy because we just got married kiss.

LOVE these next two -- You all know this is always my favorite part. This is Kit's brother (Harrison :) ) and a groomsman hugging Bobby after the ceremony.

Too cute

Cocktail hour at dusk

Dining Tent

Isn't this a dream set-up? This private residence seemed to be made for this!

First Dance

Night details

A great getaway car!

I almost forgot one of my favorite parts! Kit & Bobby may be New Yorkers now but they certainly haven't forgotten their roots because this part is a late-night, Kingston Pike classic -- At midnight the servers passed around Krystal Hamburgers and Krispy Kreme doughnuts :) Kit and Bobby were so sweet from start to finish. Thank you both for a wonderful day!

What a wonderful wedding and crew to make it all come together! It was an amazing evening, but I must say the best part was when a rainbow appeared as the bride walked down the asile with her dad. You just can't plan that!
Thannk you for capturing the magical moments of the evening!

Stunning!!! These images are so beautifully done, wow!! Love all your detail shots! Oh, and I'd love to know where and when you used flash - that reception was dreamy! Was there enough "natural" light for those shots? Great job!!!
