We just got back from my friend's Bunnie & Daniel's amazing wedding at the High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, NC. It was a whole weekend filled with events and LOTS of laughs. There was so much to shoot at this wedding and so, so much I want to post - it's going to be tough to narrow it down.

Let me first start off with the place and tell everyone about Friday - all I can say is WOW!
First, look what awaited us when we checked it - the cutest cabin you've ever seen! Outside our room we had a screened in sleeping porch that overlooked the lake - loved it!

The High Hampton looks like scenes straight out of Dirty Dancing. This is the view from the site of the ceremony - amazing!

Friday afternoon the girls headed over to the Chattooga Club for the bridal luncheon, followed by spa treatments... (I went with the girls, Dan went with the boys)

Bunnie, Paige Moncier, Sarah Long, and Rachael Sullivan

And the boys played a round of golf at the High Hampton... Nice shot Daniel!

Then everyone got ready for the rehearsal dinner. Here are a few of Bunnie and Daniel. I loved Bunnie's dress, she got it at Bliss in Knoxville.

And of course Mae, their new Bulldog puppy, who was a flower girl on Saturday :)

Yes, she's real.

On to the rehearsal dinner...

And speeches...

And then, well, I don't even know what to say about this - LOL. There were several entertainment acts preformed by Meg, Bunnie's mom's best friend, and her two daughters.... Towards the end of the night, they busted out in Bunny and Chick costumes to the tune of Elton John's 'Benny and the Jetts'. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Dan and I turned to each other and said "We've seen it all!" Once the Bunny and Chick came out, there was a an impromptu dance party - hilarious.

The next morning Bunnie and several friends decided to Polar Plunge into the lake. They jumped from one dock, swam to another, jumped in again and swam back. I was on the first dock and Dan was in a paddle boat. One unafraid swimmer went in a little early, I think by accident...

The second jump...

Jumpers: Bunnie, David, Ellen (Bridesmaid), Jeni, Josh, Rachael (Bridesmaid), and Sarah (Reader)

And yup, that is me - fixing hair!! Bunnie asked me the week before the wedding if I would do it because this place was kinda in the middle of nowhere and there was no one else. So when I told Dan I was going to do it and he was like, "Since when do you know how to do hair?" I was like, "Dan, I'm like known for doing hair! - Duh!" It was a lot of pressure but Bunnie is so laid back I didn't freak out too much!

And this is Claire Poole, who in 5 minutes learned how to curl with a flat iron so that she could do my sister's hair...My sister, Rachael, was a bridesmaid.

Paige took a picture of Bunnie while she was putting on her dress. It was a naked picture and the whole day Bunnie kept saying, "Paige has a naked picture of me on her phone and she won't delete it!" So funny...

We didn't have a big mirror out there so Bunnie kept using the reflection in my camera lens to check herself out - Ha! Here they are lacing up her dress.

Beautiful Bunnie,

and Daniel.

And this is where I'm going to end for today. Part 2 coming soon...!

Just wanted to quickly share a few senior portraits we did with Lauren...and her new Mini Cooper! Congrats Lauren!! You'll love college!

We also did a session with Lauren's parents, Pastor Kenneth Carpenter and Penny Carpenter of the First Apostolic Church of Maryville. They are using this image for a billboard for their church. Carpenters, you were a pleasure to work with! Best to you all!!

This is Sophie, the darlin' little 9 month old daughter of my friend Becky. This little girl is so chubby and cute it was hard not to bite her! I took these over at Becky's house, in her backyard, Saturday morning (yes, I'm very fast - my new-year's resolution). Though I am still finishing up her online gallery, I thought I'd go on and post a few of my favs! Enjoy!

Becky is so beautiful and I just love this picture of the two if them. I loved their interactions together and Becky is in a lot of my favorites - maybe because I like her so much, maybe because they're just the best!

I love this one. This little dress is from Matilda Jane - isn't it the cutest!?

This is definitely one of my favorites!
