Last summer when Ben was ready to propose to Brittany he thought he had it all planned out... Brittany was at her lake house laying out on the dock. Ben put the ring in a mesh bag which he tied to his arm. The plan was to swim across the lake, surprise her, and ask her to marry him. It turns out the distance of the swim was much further than Ben thought... When he got there, she was totally surprised, he did ask her to marry him - and she said yes! Then, after all the wonderful emotion, there was a slight medical incident involving a swimmer vomiting from exhaustion and collapsing in bird poop.  A funny and priceless story no matter how you tell it.  And, knowing Ben & Brittany's personalities makes it even funnier.

We did their engagement session downtown a few days ago. We had a great time running around town with them and we're soo excited about shooting their wedding this May!! Hope you like these!!

They told us the proposal story when we met them last summer but we made Ben tell it again during the shoot... the next three are when he was re-telling the story - cute!

Too cute! I love the one of them in front of the red bricks. My other favorite is from the slideshow where they are kissing and their hands are in the foreground and they are out of focus in the background. Great job Dan and Nat!
