I've been holding off on posting Eliza and Brent's wedding for months so that we could debut it on our new site so here goes...

Eliza and Brent are two of the nicest, most optimistic and happy people I know. (I feel like I always say that or something nice about all of my clients but it's SO TRUE - we must have THE BEST clients!!) I feel slightly related to Eliza & Brent because my sister is married to Brent's brother, which is not why I have nice things to say about them - anyone who knows them would absolutely sing their praises...
Eliza & Brent had a very beautiful & sweet service at First Baptist Church of Knoxville, where she and her family have been members for years. It was especially neat for me to be there because it was my grandmother's church. I'll always remember looking at the inside of the church and thinking it was like the White House or something because it's so grand... Anyway, back to the wedding, the church was beautifully decorated for Christmas - so pretty!
Eliza and Brent have been dating since high school and it seemed like the whole event had a strong family feel to it, because if you think about it, Eliza and Brent grew up together in a way - and most of their the bridesmaids, groomsmen, family and friends have been a witness to their relationship for many years... I think seeing it all come together was super special for everyone involved.
OK, I'll get going with the pictures and describe the rest of the event as I go.
I'm starting out with my favorite image.... The reason I love it so much is because Eliza is just stunning to me....it kind of makes me want to gasp in a way. I love the look on her face, that it's not a full smile but a happy face and that it's expectant and slightly mysterious.

I met Eliza at her hair salon, where this lady has been doing her hair since she was a very little girl - so special for both of them...

A different composition, but I just love this!!

Love this little candid moment of her Dad smiling at her. The next one is Eliza's 10 bridesmaids - all of them so sweet and beautiful!!

And 10 groomsmen...

This next little series is something Eliza requested that was a great idea! I already posted the third picture down in a sneak peek right after the wedding. She wanted to hold his hand but not see him before the ceremony. Here are the shots leading up to that moment.

Just before the ceremony, the girls were singing (loudly) and bouncing around to 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat'...I'm not even making this up. I think it was an inside joke... They were very spirited and it was really funny.

I'm skipping some parts, but after the ceremony we took a trolley ride around downtown that dropped us off right in front of Club LeConte, where the reception was held. Everyone was definitely starting to get into party mode.

We did some quick shots of Eliza & Brent on Gay street.

I think Club LeConte is using this in an ad...

This is pretty funny...

That's all for now but click the link if you want to see more photos from Eliza & Brent's wedding in Knoxville, it is featured in one of our portfolios
