I cannot say enough about this couple or this wedding -----amazing doesn't even begin to describe them or it. It has been so, so hard to pick out just a few pictures to post... I think I could post pics from this wedding every week for an entire year and never run out of material. This beautiful wedding took place at the William Aiken House in Charleston, SC. The whole event was flawlessly coordinated and designed by Hannah Alexander of WED in Charleston.

The William Aiken House is yellow stucco and we used it for a backdrop in a lot of the photos... It was really cheery and summery and, well, take a look,we had a lot of fun on the 'wall'...

All of the BM's wore different snake skinned high heels - so fun (and they all had perfectly manicured toes too!) Also notice that all of the groomsmen had different boutonnieres - I have close up pics of them all but there's never enough room on the blog :(

Love a long veil on a windy day :) It's crazy how only a little bit of wind can move a veil, and it always makes me smile.

Love these little candid moments.. On the left, that's Erin's mother and she is talking to Chris on the right :)

And a bit of drama...

Erin was such a beautiful bride and it was so hard picking pictures. She looks amazing in every shot and needed zero skin retouching -----Erin, tell us your secrets!
erin_chris_w_4409web.jpg
The girls and Erin's "bridesman" (aka cousin Cody) posed for this picture in the Red Room, the space where Erin and the girls got dressed - wow, what a room!

Amazing table details by WED...

...and handsome men.
erin_chris_w_5584web.jpg
Ahhh, the bride and groom... (This was after the ceremony, a little out of order here)
erin_chris_w_6599.tiffweb.jpg
This was Erin's bouquet and yall are going to think this is adorable! For years she said she's carried around this pic of Chris in her wallet.  So, she had it affixed to her bouquet - isn't that just precious!?
erin_chris_w_4052.tiffweb.jpg
LOVED her cake. Each layer was something different. One layer was red velvet, one was chocolate and the other was____? Can't remember, probably white.
erin_chris_w_5168dweb.jpg
The ceremony was very nice and very bright on the girl's side. I think it was pretty hard for the girls to keep looking in that direction but Erin certainly had no trouble :)

Love this one! Possibly my favorite of them together - just down the street, love the floating veil.
erin_chris_w_6650web.jpg
This was funny. Erin's stepdad brought this funny 'bride pulling the groom' trinket.  He was just about to put it on top of their lovely cake when Erin caught him in the act and said "No Way!" He snuck it back on the center of the table after they cut the pieces - ha, ha.

A little night action
erin_chris_w_7015.tiffweb.jpg
This was during their first dance - I think it was Green Eyes by Cold Play. Also I just wanted to mention this because it was really cute and I don't have room for a picture here: Erin and Chris had a basket on the dance floor filled with flip-flops in different sizes for the girls to use for dancing. You know, just in case their heels were killing them - isn't that sweet?
erin_chris_w_6718web.jpg
They had these great lounging tables set up outside the bar.

This old theater is right next door to the William Aiken House ---- cute right? The End!!

So I'm in Las Vegas in Oct 12 and I'm eating at California Pizza Kitchen. I open the menu and find a SD memory card in it. It has photos from your wedding and another wedding on it. Email me at Natas5000@yahoo.com and will send you the card.

Last Thursday on our way out of town to Erin & Chris's wedding (hold your horses it's coming soon!), we did an engagement shoot for the lovely Robin Butler and her fiance, Paul, who we just met and also L-O-V-E!!

We are very excited about their wedding this November and here's why: Not only are Robin and Paul fun, hilarious, great to be around and a perfect match for each other, they live and are getting married in L.A.! That's right, we are going on a trip to California and we've never been (except for skiing but that really doesn't count)! Their wedding is going to be awesome and we really couldn't be more excited about it. It's going to be on the rooftop of the Thompson Beverly Hills Hotel. Check it out, we're so stoked!

Robin is from Knoxvegas and she and Paul were here last week for an engagement party, so we got to hang out and do their engagement photos....

Robin said she really liked color so I'm going all out!

Robin loved the red brick in Brittany and Ben's engagement shoot so we used the other side of the building, which had great light that day...

On to part 2 of Bunnie and Daniels's wedding last weekend at the High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, North Carolina!

Love some good details :)
quad2.jpg
I'm stepping back in time a little because some of my favorite pics are from getting ready. It was the best location for getting ready I've ever seen! We were on the porch of Bunnie's cabin. The porch overlooked the lake and mountain but most importantly we had natural light and shade! I cannot stress how important light and especially location are for the getting ready shots ----- Brides, think about where you are getting ready and how it will look on camera.

I love candid pics...

Mae and Winston were front row during the ceremony. Winston was passed out for most of it! I think B&D had to step over him on the way out!!
bunnie_daniel_w_3126.tiffweb.jpg
Last dog pic... too bad if you are sick of it... it's all about Bunnie and Daniel and they LOVE their babies!

I like this little candid moment too...

At the end of the reception Bunnie and Daniel thanked everyone for being there. I'm not sure exactly how it happened but someone said something like, "Bunnie sing something!" Bunnie's claims to not be a singer and at first she was quiet before breaking out into full song, "You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out..." and sang like all 67 verses of the Hokey Pokey - really funny. She said afterwards, "That might be the most spontaneous thing I've ever done." Doubt it :)

And bird seed everywhere! The end. Bunnie & Daniel, hope you guys had a great honeymoon! We love you!!
