...And ahh! He's just the cutest thing! He's my youngest sister Claire and her husband Aaron's sweet little baby boy. A perfect 7lbs, 5oz and that's teeny in our family! I think he looks a lot like......me!! (ok, he's looking a lot like his mom, I think) but I haven't seen him today yet and he changed a ton from yesterday am to pm! So anyways, here are some pictures of our new little nephew and the lucky ones who were there and got to hold him about 30 mins after he was born. We were all so happy and excited!
...AND PS - I must say that one of the best parts about Baylor being born is that it means we're next!! Actually we know one more couple who will probably deliver before we do, Becca & Billy, one of our brides and grooms from 2009! Yay!!! (And my how time flies!!)
Happy Tuesday!

Dad Aaron, Aunt Cecile Gray & Uncle Ben, Aunt Nat, Uncle Dan, Mom Claire, and Grandpa Jimmy (who looks like he might run off with him -- and probably will he's such a baby hog! ;))

First family photo :)

Cousins Merri Ryan & Jack with Aunts Cecile Gray and Rachael, Grandpa Tom, sweet baby Baylor, Aaron hugging his dad when he first came out into the waiting room (tears!), Uncle Ben & Rach, Baylor :).

And just for the sake of being completely random, here's a pic from Claire & Aaron's wedding, which was about 4 1/2 years ago! It was one of the first, if not the first, weddings Dan and I ever did together. The end!

We've been waiting for a perfect snowy day to post this little gem of an engagement shoot but since it's felt like spring for the last 3 weeks we starting to feel like it's now or never!! Meet Rachel and Cody, one of our 2011 couples who we love, love, love! I get a little smile inside every time I think of these two and when I look at these photos I can't help but think of Rachel's cute little accent or the funny story of their engagement... (which involves the 'accidental' discovery of said engagement ring by bride-to-be while 'deep cleaning'... and might be my all time favorite engagement story!). Their fun winter engagement shoot couldn't have happened on a better day. There was a little snow on the ground and the light was really soft and great. Although it was pretty darn cold outside these two should both be receiving academy's awards for pulling off warm smiles and laughs -- they did such a great job!

Enjoy!!
I love this one so soft and sweet!

Rachel & Cody are super funny together!

This is a favorite.

I know what you're thinking and I think you might be right... professional models? We know your secret Rachel & Cody!

Love this barn!

I always have to take a picture like this for some reason. One day I'm going to do something with all of them... who knows what.

So fun!

Opie, their dog, is so cute :)

The end! I was thinking about an old photo of Dan's grandparents we have in our downstairs bathroom that inspired me while doing this shoot. I love it because they're so young... and the snow & sled. It remind me of the one of Cody & Rachel above against the barn, third from the top. Here it is :)

Great pictures!
Any way you could find out where she bought that coat? I've been looking for a perfect red coat all winter with no luck and now I'm dying for that one!!

Kitty has a new home!! :)) Yay!! Shanna, one of our 2011 brides, is his new momma and we're sooo excited for them! Bye, bye sweet kitty (see he's waving at me) -- I'll miss you!!
Two nights ago at midnight Dan was taking out the trash and I heard him kind of jump a little and then he said "Whoa, there's a cat!"... On closer look, not a cat, a teeny, tiny, sweet-as-can-be kitten just appeared at our back door - and we have a fenced in backyard! Now I'm pretty convinced it's fate that brought this kitten to our back door -- but Dan thinks it's fate for us to find this little kitten a good home somewhere else (husbands!). And really, I agree. We already have an old dog and a self-absorbed super cat. And, with a baby on the way, it's just not going to happen.
I'm getting awfully attached but we need to find this kitten a good home and I mean GOOD! We could take it out to our farm to be a 'Barn Cat' but I can tell this little kitten is just waaayyy too sweet and way too much of a people cat. It would make a great family cat. This kitten (in my professional cat owner experience :)) is a really, really special cat. It purrs all the time, sleeps a lot and just wants me to hold it all day long. The kitten even lets me wrap it up in a blanket and carry it around like a baby!! It just sits on my lap while I work on the computer and purrs & it used the liter box right away! We're not sure if it's a boy or girl, though we're thinking boy and we don't know how old it is, maybe 5 or 6 weeks. So if you or anyone you know would love to have this sweet kitten please email us pronto!

Now how can you resist this sweet face!?! I'll be so sad to see him go!!
